We love the versatility of pinto beans! Their smooth texture is perfect for creamy bean dips and smoky refried beans, and they add heartiness to Southwestern-style soups. An excellent source of protein and fiber means our Organic Pinto Beans are filling as well as flavourful.



Ingredients: Organic Dried Pinto Beans

Cooking Instructions 

  1. Soak 1 cup pinto beans in 3 cups water for at least 8 hours
  2. Drain and rinse
  3. Bring beans and 3 cups fresh water or stock to a boil in a medium pot
  4. Reduce heat and simmer 1.5 to 2.5 hours, uncovered for firm beans or partially covered for creamier beans
  5. Add liquid as needed to keep beans submerged throughout cooking time
  6. Remove from heat, drain and season as desired
